Orphanages are always in need of donations and volunteer teachers
Hello! My name is Dmitry. I was born in February 2000, in Lugansk. At birth I had a handicapped. My father abandoned us when I was 7 years old.
When the war broke out in Lugansk, my mother and I moved to Odessa.
We are renting an apartment. It is very hard for my mother; we do not have enough money. A year and a half ago my mother was diagnosed with oncological disease. My mother had 2 surgeries and radiation, and now they are preparing her for the third surgery.
My grandmother is also ill. My mother and I are very thankful, that I am in the orphanage. I get a lot of help here. We met a lot of kind and hospitable people in Odessa.
My mother, grandmother, and I go to the church on weekends. We pray to God that the war in my native city ends soon.
I go in for sports, work out, like to draw, and help my mother. I like to help my mother to cook very much.
I found many good friends in the orphanage. I want to study to be a chef, and to start working as soon as possible to help my mother with her treatment.
Thank you beforehand for your wish to help me get an education.
Thank you once more.
