Ukrainian Orphanages in the Transcarpathian region

Orphanages are places where children who have lost their parents or guardians live. They provide care for these kids until they reach adulthood. In Ukraine, orphanages are also known as “Internat”, is a mixed boarding school for orphans and children from all backgrounds and needs.

The students come from poor families and attend the school because it provides free education.

In addition to this, the school organizes sports activities such as football, volleyball, basketball, tennis, swimming, chess, table-tennis, etc., trips to local parks and museums, excursions to other cities and many others.

There are over 100 million orphans worldwide. Many of them live in developing countries without access to basic services such as healthcare, education, and nutrition. There are many ways to help these children. One way is through adoption. Adopting an older child can be more difficult than adopting a younger one because it takes longer to find an appropriate home. Another way to help is by donating money to organizations that work with orphans.
