Additional support for Ukrainian refugee and orphans
Providing assistance to Ukrainian refugee from Mykolaiv

Valentina is Ukrainian refugee from Mykolaiv one of those new students who joined UAC this month, she is already receiving a scholarship from us. The support provided by our organization has changed her life and she has not been left in debt in gratitude, Valentina continues to learn and grow. UAC organization gave her special tennis sneakers, opening up new opportunities for her and inspiring her to play sports. Valentina expressed her gratitude to UAC for the opportunities that allow her to achieve her academic and athletic goals.
The UAC Student Scholarship Program is dedicated to helping Ukrainian refugee children and orphans receive an education. Through this program, students are able to write letters to their sponsors on a monthly basis, sharing updates about their lives and how the monthly scholarship support is enabling them to pursue their education and survive during the ongoing war.
In these letters, students have the opportunity to share with their sponsors about their lives, dreams, and how the scholarship is making a difference in their lives. These letters not only give sponsors the opportunity to make a personal connection with the students they support, but also serve as a powerful reminder of the impact their donations are having on the lives of these young people.
Food relief efforts to Ukrainian refugee in Odessa

Despite the ongoing air raids in Odessa, our team at UAC has remained resilient and committed to helping the Ukrainian refugee in any way we can. In preparation for Easter, we knew that many individuals and families in Odessa were in need of support, so we took action to make a difference.
Thanks to the generous support of the Rockville Rotary and the District, we were able to distribute much-needed food baskets to the most vulnerable Ukrainian refugee in Odessa. This support allowed us to provide essential groceries to those who needed it most, especially during a time of grief and tragedy.
Anastasia Shvets and her daughter Amira, along with Pishida Lena and her four children, were just a few of the individuals who received a grocery kit from us. These families were facing difficult circumstances, but the arrival of our food baskets brought them much-needed relief and joy. It was a small gesture, but it made a significant impact on their lives during a challenging time.
As we continue to navigate through uncertain times, it is important to remember the power of reaching out to those in need and offering our support. Whether it be through donations, volunteering, or simply checking in on our neighbors, every act of kindness has the potential to make a positive difference in someone's life.
Together, as a community, we can overcome challenges and build a stronger, more compassionate Odessa. By coming together and supporting one another, we can create a brighter future for all, even in the midst of difficult circumstances.
David Kovalchick help Ukrainian refugee children in Odesa

A special bowling event for Ukrainian refugee children was recently organized through the joint efforts of a dedicated team, bringing joy and excitement to many boys and girls who grew up in difficult circumstances. This event provided them with their first experience of this enjoyable pastime, creating lasting memories and instilling a sense of happiness and positivity.
As the Ukrainian refugee children entered the bowling alley, their serious and reserved expressions quickly transformed into smiles and laughter. It was heartwarming to see them let loose, have fun, and simply enjoy being carefree kids for a day. For many of them, this event was a rare opportunity to engage in a recreational activity that they may not have had access to before.
The success of this event would not have been possible without the generous partnership and dedication of David Kovalchick and UAC. Their support and commitment to the cause of making the world a better place for every child truly made a difference. Their involvement and contributions allowed the event to come to life and brought joy to the hearts of these Ukrainian refugee children.
This special bowling event for Ukrainian refugee children serves as a reminder of the power of coming together to create positive change. It is a testament to the impact that a collective effort can have on the lives of those in need. By providing these children with new experiences and opportunities, we are not only bringing a moment of joy but also helping to shape a brighter future for them.
Events like these go beyond just a day of fun – they leave a lasting impression on the hearts and minds of the children involved. They provide a sense of hope, happiness, and a belief in a better tomorrow. Through initiatives like this, we can make a difference in the lives of Ukrainian refugee children and contribute to building a more compassionate and caring world for all.
