Ilya fell ill with Covid a month ago. After the treatment, as a complication after the illness, his teeth were badly deteriorated.
He lives with his mother in a social hostel. They are refugees from the city of Alchevsk, Luhansk region. He cannot move freely because he is disabled with cerebral palsy.
Ilya is a second year student at the Odessa Polytechnic University. He is very grateful that from the first year I was accepted into the UAC “Scholarship” program and received a monthly scholarship. This means a lot to him, since his mother cannot provide university studies and accommodation.
Universal Aid for Children provide helps orphans, refugee children and children with special needs in Odessa region, Ukraine.
Ilya's mom got Covid in winter and has big complications in her heart and kidneys, she still feels bad.
Ilya urgently needs to treat four teeth, as they are badly damaged and crumbling, and then cover them with crowns. Treatment and filling of canals of each tooth will cost about 600 UAH, which is about $ 25, and each crown costs $ 120.
In total I need 580 dollars for treatment and crowns. Ilya tried to take care of her teeth and six months ago checked and filled her teeth, but this did not help, after the illness the situation only worsened
For Ilya and his mother, this is a very large amount. They do not have that kind of money and they cannot earn it.
They only recently closed the debt for rehabilitation, since Ilya has cerebral palsy, he needs to undergo rehabilitation at least once a year, and even with a group 2 disability, the state agrees to issue a rehabilitation voucher only once every two to three years.
Ilya's mother is trying to survive, but after having had a hard time herself, she cannot work normally. Ilya tries to study well at the university and the STEP academy, so that later he can become a support and provide, but for now he really needs our support!
