North Fulton Community Charities was founded in 1983 and is dedicated to solving social problems of poverty in North Fulton.
The organization assists tens of thousands of people each year with emergency assistance in nearby towns. North Fulton Community Charities has established many offices in North Fulton to address poverty and hunger in the community.
North Fulton Community Charities Housing Commission was formally created in 1991 to access social housing for those in need in North Fulton.
In 1993, the commission was transformed into a Homestretch agency to provide transitional social housing for working residents.
At this time, North Fulton Community Charities programs and services have expanded, and the organization continues to volunteer and offer emergency assistance - orphans, working families, single mothers, the elderly and many others in need.
