Orphans from Ukraine need support
Hello, my name is Pavel Skukin, I am 15 years old. Was born on 07/11/2006, in the city of Makeevka, Donetsk region. I am from a Christian family, and whole our family went to church. In the first grade, I went to the Makeevskaya secondary school 47, studied there until grade 3. In 2014 when the war began in my hometown.
I, my mother, and my brother were forced to move to the Odessa region, the village of Sergeevka. There I went to grade 3. My mother is a disabled person of the 2nd group, my father disappeared without a trace, and my brother had a disability after the car accident. During this time, we have changed many places of residence and schools.
Now I live in the city of Odessa in the center for social and psychological assistance, because our house was bombed and it is located on the uncontrolled territory of Ukraine, where shelling is underway. My mother and I have never come back there because it was very hard to remember the nightmares of how my mother, brother, and I hid in the basements from the bombings.
Over the years, a lot has changed, my brother was stabbed to death with a knife at night in the park, but the offender went unpunished. My mother and I buried my brother in Odessa. For both of us it was a big lost, my mother, very badly endured the death of her son, and me of my brother. Only going to church, helped us to console.
I graduated from the 9th grade of Odessa school number 23 with good grades, and this summer I entered the Odessa Vocational college, as a Computer typing Operator. My mother is very ill, she almost never gets out of bed, has a diagnosis of neurology. In her head, there is an iron plate instead of a part of the skull.
I really like to study, I dream to start working as soon as possible in order to be able to provide for my sick mother. I also plan to go to University after graduation, and combine work with study. In my free time, I take care of my mother, cook for her, wash clothes, and clean the house. I could be a great cook) But most of all I love to learn new things about computer systems and programs.
I want to collect money for my own laptop in order to study and develop more in the computer field. I am also interested in environmental protection.
I don't have many friends, as I don't have much free time.
I will be very grateful if you accept me into the student program. I promise to comply with all the requirements, and rules for the students of the organization.
