Helping Orphans in Ukraine
Hello, my name is Dennis, I was born on March 19, 2001, in the city of Lugansk. My father worked in a mine in the village while my mother was too busy getting drunk.
In 2007 I started school, but I never really did well in school up through the 5th grade as I didnt have anyone push me to excel. I had to repeat the 5th grade and after, I was sent to the orphanage.
My parents didnt visit me in the orphanage because they didnt know where I was and I didnt know where they were. We were sent to the Odessa region because of the war taking place in Ukraine. I was in the Pishana orphanage and then the Balta orphanage.
In 2017 I entered trade school in the city of Odessa. I am studying to become a welder. I realize I cant do it on my own, and so I ask for your support. I heard about UAC from a friend of mine.
He explained to me how UAC helps students like myself. Ive never really had much in the way of a support system, so I really look forward to engaging with my future sponsor. I would be infinitely grateful if you would consider me. I could not be happier to be a part of the UAC family.
Thank you very much!
